Welcome to the South West Pirates!

A vibrant, supportive, inclusive and sustainable Volleyball Association
based in Warrnambool, Victoria.

Welcome to the South West Pirates!

The Warrnambool Volleyball Association has a long and proud history of introducing players to one of the world’s most popular non-contact sports.

Our programs include junior and senior competitions, as well as representative squads for elite players. Squads train weekly in preparation for a number of state tournaments throughout the year, including our own annual Seaside event, held on the Labour Day long weekend each March, which is one of Australia’s longest running volleyball carnivals.

Warrnambool Volleyball Association prides itself on being an inclusive club supporting players of all cultural backgrounds and abilities.

Warrnambool Volleyball Association has been closely following the developments of COVID-19.

In order to assist in helping reduce the spread we have made the difficult decision to suspend all games and trainings until further notice. We hope to return after Easter but will inform all teams of occurrences prior to this time.

Thank you for understanding and supporting our decision but the health and wellbeing of our players and volleyball community must come first.

Wednesday nights AGM will still go ahead at the ARC at 7.00pm
